Hi Hamish,

Thank you for pointing that detail out. You are right of course. What I was referring to was the ability to switch between cryptocurrencies across hashes, between Ethhash which will eventually be standardized to SHA-3 (by my knowledge not as yet) and SHA-256 which is Bitcoin’s hash. From my research and my conversations with cryptocurrency miners that I know personally, the ability to swap between cryptocurrencies is not as complicated as rotating crops in the middle of planting seasons — the only point I was trying to make.

But again, thank you for your astute observation.

I hope to be more detailed and accurate in my writing in the future.
