Your analysis is most correct. Unfortunately, given the vast volumes of USDT that are traded daily, its liquidity makes it still one of the most attractive fiat-crypto on-ramps in the market.

And the sheer variety of trading pairs available on Bitfinex means that traders are never starved for choice when it comes to trading possibilities.
