Some would argue that fiat money is at least tied to debt, whereas for most cryptocurrencies, they are tied to nothing.

Cryptocurrencies may have value but whether or not they are worth anything in the traditional sense I believe still depends very much on the market.

Fortunately, the jury is still deliberating.
