I absolutely agree with you. In its current state, cryptocurrencies have a long way to go. In earlier writing I had suggested perhaps a decade or more, but I could be wrong, it might take longer.

I find that behavioral economics provides useful analysis when trying to decipher the crypto conundrum, of which you have identified many of the key bugbears.

But I remain cautiously optimistic in the very long term prospects.
